The Northwest Mustangs in Action parent club hosted classroom parties and an assembly with music from around the world for Valentine's Day. These events were a part of student appreciation week in which we recognized the great students we have at Northwest!

Northwest students raised money for the American Heart Association with their Jump Rope for Heart Event. Ms. Normoyle organized a variety of events in the gym for the day and students from Evergreen Park High School volunteered to help run the stations.

Northwest kindergarten students celebrated the 100th day of school on February 1st by dressing like what they think they would look like when they are one hundred years old.

The MIA Parent Booster Club hosted a Father/Daughter dance on January 27, 2017 with the theme "Be Our Guest." The Northwest students and their fathers danced the night away.

The Mustangs in Action Parent group for Northwest sponsored a field trips to the Chicago Wolves game for students in 1st through 5th grades, to the Beverly Arts Center for Kindergarten, and a jumpy house for preschool to help celebrate the the great job students are doing with PBIS.

The Northwest Student Council and PBIS iLead Committee collected 202 toys for their toy drive to benefit patients at Advocate Christ Children's Hospital.
