Northwest School Student Council Officers

Sidewalk Art Fair

The MIA parent booster club hosted the Sidewalk Art Fair on August 30th. Families enjoyed creating art on the sidewalks of Northwest to help welcome in the new year.

Back to School Bash

Come celebrate the start of a new school year on Friday, August 11th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at Central!

5th Grade Awards Night

On May 24th, Northwest recognized all of the accomplishments of our 5th graders and we wished them well at Central. We know their futures will be bright and we can't wait to see the great things they will do!

Northwest STEM Night

Over 325 people participated in Northwest School's STEM night. Students showcased their STEM projects with their families and learned about force with race cars, plant and animal survival, and sound. A special thank you to Barnes and Noble for providing additional STEM activities.

Autism Awareness

Northwest students did several activities to learn more about autism and raise awareness in the school community. Classrooms participated in a door decorating contest and there was a raffle to raise money for the cause.

Mother and Son Bowling

The Northwest MIA hosted mother/son bowling. Students and their mothers had fun eating pizza and bowling. Thank you to the MIA for hosting the great event!

St. Baldrick's Event

Northwest held a St. Baldrick's event on March 24th in which 30 students, staff members, and parents raised close to $11,000 and braved the shave. Money raised from the event goes to fund childhood cancer research.

Special Person's Day 2017

Students invited their special person to come see Northwest on March 9th, 2017. Students interviewed their special person, visited the book fair, and enjoyed a snack with them.
