Hello and welcome to Mrs. Normoyle's webpage. This is an extension of Evergreen Park School District 124 P.E. classroom. I have been teaching physical education here at Northwest Elementary School in Evergreen Park since 2002. I grew up in Evergreen Park and received my college degree from Rockford College.
It is my goal for every student to develop a lifelong love of movement and physical activity. Our program is built on providing students with a wide variety of activities, providing a fun and safe environment for students, and proving as much activity time as possible during our classes.
In the Classroom...
All students will be exposed to a wide variety of activities from 5th-8th grade. We teach a wide range of activities and hope that each student finds several they truly enjoy and will continue with on their own time outside of class. The listing below covers most (but not all) of what students will experience between grades 5 and 8. Most units last a couple weeks and then we are on to the next activity.
